Satellites to track

Minimum elevation is the lowest angle above the horizon at which the satellite must appear for the pass to be listed. At 0° every pass is included, even when the satellite grazes the horizon and atmospheric distortion is severe. At 5–10° you get all operationally useful passes. At 20–30° only high-quality overhead passes remain — fewer results but better viewing geometry and shorter atmospheric path for optical/SAR imagery.
